U.S. citizens or permanent residents who were trained internationally and hold an RN license in the State of Iowa or a compact state are welcome to apply to the RN-to-BSN program. All admissions criteria and pre-requisites must be met to be considered for admission.

The RN-to-BSN program is not currently approved for students holding F-1 or J-1 visas. International students who hold other statuses are encouraged to contact International Students and Scholars at Iowa State University (ISSO) to confirm eligibility. See below for guidance and contact information.
