U.S. citizens or permanent residents who were trained internationally are welcome to apply to the nursing programs at Iowa State University. All admissions criteria and pre-requisites must be met to be considered for admission. Applicants to the RN-to-BSN program and MSN program, must hold an RN license in the State of Iowa or a compact state.

The nursing programs at Iowa State University are not currently approved for students holding F-1 or J-1 visas.
