Student health and well-being are essential to your success. Thielen Student Health Center provides on-campus medical care similar to a primary care clinic, including visits for illness and injury, immunizations, pharmacy service, physical therapy, and more!

Student Counseling Services (SCS) provides clinical and campus-based services to help students achieve their educational and personal goals. SCS supports the holistic well-being of every Iowa State student and promotes a healthy and inclusive community through clinical services, outreach, consultation, crisis intervention and collaboration with campus partners.

TAO Self-Help

TAO (Therapy Assistance Online) is an online library of tools and educational modules that can help you learn about and change how you think and feel. TAO offers more than 150 brief, evidence-informed sessions on over 50 topics related to mental health, wellness, and substance use, along with interactive activities and mindfulness exercises to support your goals. 

Get started with TAO at no cost using your Iowa State University email; access is free for ISU students, faculty, and staff.
